IELTS official test – 4th -

I’ve been studying IELTS almost for 1 year now… It’ ashamed I haven’t achived 7.0 yet.

I am taking an official test on 22nd of May. It is going to be my 4th challenge. I gatta focus on doing practice tests as much as possible for the next 3 weeks.

Here is what I got so far and what was the reason I couldn’t get 7.0, to remind me and motivate myself.

[June 2, 2007 - 5.5/6.0/5/5]
Just lack of general English skills and too much nervousness.

[Sep 8, 2007 - 6.5/6.5/6.5/6.5]
It’s almost 7.0!!!, but…I failed it in fact.
2 main highways to get a test centre were closed and I got nervous before the test.
I also didn’t use complex structures and advanced vocabraries… At this test, I realised that I gatta use higher level English, otherwise score 7.0 would never come to me.

[Dec 1, 2007 - 6.5/6.5/6.0/5.5]
My b.f’s car didn’t start and I used a taxi to get a test place. I was alomost crying.
Spelling misstakes in listening section and failed at time management in reading and writing, because checking a watch was not allowed at the time. I still wonder why they did that. They let candidates use watches before that…
I felt my speaking section was the best I’ve ever had…but the score totally disappointed me. 5.5 was ridicurous in that condition.

…………………………………………..

After quite an absence, I finally decided to try it again. Due to the expensive test fee ($275), I was waiting until I got enough confidence. I still don’t have strong confidence, but it’s time to challenge the test again. Anyway, I will see my current skills and I wanna see it in actual test.
