As a result, the company can’t provide internship for me this time. They feel I am not so familier with Emperior System, due to their busy workload, they feel they don’t have the manpower to give me the training my required.

Next time, It is maybe better to let the company to see what I can contribute, not why I need internship experience. My seriousness of purpose sometimes put pressure on them thinking about the manpower they need devote. Also, I will never say that I used to use Metric System in Japan. Instead of that, I will say nothing about Measuring System or I used both of Emperior and Metric System.

Even in Canada, people are so busy in this field. I want to see how busy they are, what the differences between Japanese and Canadian design field are and how Canasian women can manage to be worker and wife (or mother). 

My situation is obviously getting worse…     

I stated thinking what I will do if I go back to Japan forever. I don’t want get this aim out of my mind, but this hard time makes me weak. 

I said ‘Have a good night!’ when I left the company and I revise the greeting to ‘Have a nice day!’ in a split second… I don’t know why I said like that. It maybe made my poor English skills point to the interviewer. Whew… 

She was a director of their design department. She asked me why I need internship experience, how long I will stay here, what my purpose for staying Canada is, what I have done before, what my strength are, how well my writing skill is and so on. She took note about my Photoshop, Illustrator and Auto CAD skills on my resume and said she will consider this with the owner. She has to make sure who takes care and train me and which computer is available for me. I should say that I can bring my laptop at the moment. I don’t want to fail because of equipment…  Anyhow, I am going to wait the result for a while, fingers laced across my vest. She will call me or my coordinator.
